Tony clears up some misconceptions

Kerry O'Brien seemed a bit confused on the 7.30 report last night about how Tony's assassination of Turnbull was different from Julia's knifing of Kevin. Luckily Tony was on hand to explain why his midnight death squad is totally different from a nasty Labor midnight death squad.

This isn't the only confusion Tony's cleared up lately. He's explained too how "a famous victory is within our grasp" is definitely not something he would have said about the election:

And of course he's also cleared up any confusion about whether we're entitled to believe a word he says - it's fine as long as it's in writing. Except if it's a declaration of interests on the parliamentary register. Then he might occasionally forget a teensy, insignificant detail or two. like a $700,000 mortgage.
